We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Mona Finney – Office Manager
Mona was born and raised in Southern California. She has been in dentistry since 1972, beginning her career as a chairside dental assistant. She worked for several years in Torrance and then moved to Irvine with her husband and two children in 1985. She has worked for Dr. Spitzer since 1992. She received a degree in Health Services Management from the University of LaVerne in 1996. Mona loves working for Dr. Spitzer and thinks of the staff as part of her extended family! When she is not taking care of her “office family,” she enjoys camping and traveling with her husband.
Theresa Van Sambeek – Registered Dental Assistant
Theresa was born and raised in Orange County, California with her parents and three older brothers. She graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1998 and went on to Orange Coast College and received her dental assisting certificate in the spring of 2000. She has been a Registered Dental Assistant for five years and began working for Dr. Spitzer in 2004. Theresa says it has been a wonderful experience working with Dr. Spitzer and the rest of the staff. She feels as if she’s really found a home in this office. In February 2005, Theresa married fellow Mater Dei grad, David, in Laguna Beach. When she’s not in the office, Theresa enjoys pampering her Siberian Huskies, Savannah and Tasha.
